The  Retreat was started jointly in 2011 by the Vrindavan Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) and the GBC Vaisnavi Care sub-committee with the aim of facilitating spiritual association among women in bhakti. This retreat offers a wonderful opportunity for women from all over the world, who are eager for sadhvi-sanga. Our compact schedule is designed to maximize devotional synergy throughout the retreat.

Krsna-katha, philosophical presentations, and practical workshops by senior vaisnavis, sharing of realizations by Srila Prabhupada’s disciples, kirtana, inspirational reading before japa, mridanga lessons, dramas, dance and more have been the regular highlights of the previous retreats.

The usual location of the retreat is Jatipura a small town at the feet of Govardhana hill.
